27 weeks!

We are now 27 weeks! Things are going really well. I had a doctors appt on Oct 15th and everything checked out great. I passed my glucose challenge which means I do not have Gestational diabetes. I was slightly anemic so I have to take iron supplements now. Otherwise, all is well. Ryans parents made a surprise trip to Atlanta last week which was a lot of fun. His mom Mary was able to go to my first baby shower on the 18th thrown by some girlfriends from PA school. It was soo much fun and we got some great gifts! The baby's room is getting smaller every day... We've been working on the nursery and have the bed, dresser and changing table in place. We'll post pic's soon! Now we just have to start organizing everything. This Thursday we have another ultrasound to check the growth of the baby. We can't wait! Ultrasounds are so exciting! He's definitely moving around a lot, mostly at night. But, I can also feel him after I eat or if I'm resting. He's got some pretty powerful jabs and kicks!
